Darius Anderson is the Founder and CEO of Platinum Advisors, a full-service, top-rated California government affairs firm. Widely recognized as one of California’s most effective political strategists and fundraisers, Darius continues his long streak of advising California’s highest-ranking political and business leaders. He served as Chief of Staff for The Yucaipa Companies and as Vice President of External Affairs for Ralphs Grocery Stores, Inc., a Fortune 500 company. Through Californians Building Bridges, Darius founded Project Havana a humanitarian project dedicated to making a difference in the lives of the Cuban people through providing grants and donations of supplies to charitable organizations. He is passionate about art and owns world-class collections of baseball and Jack London memorabilia. He holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from George Washington University.

Tim Lynch is the President of Platinum Advisors’ Sacramento, serving private sector and local government clients in state legislative affairs. Prior to joining Platinum Advisors, Tim worked as a consultant for a national management consulting and research firm dedicated solely to serving public sector clients. He later served as the Director of Governmental Affairs for a large California trade association in which he was responsible for the association’s legislative program and covered a broad array of policy areas such as managed care, Medi-Cal reimbursement, and workers’ compensation. Mr. Lynch also administered the Association’s political action committees and managed grassroots political action and fundraising efforts. Tim holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of California-Davis.

Beau Biller specializes in representing transportation clients including UPS, as well as clients in local government, engineering, transit, water and energy, including Fluor Corporation, Tesla Motors, Design Build Institute of America, Golden Gate Bridge Highway and Transportation District, and Ygrene Fund. Beau served the California Trucking Association as both Director of Public Affairs and head of Government Relations. Beau served U.S. Senator Pete Wilson in the Defense and Foreign Affairs Department, and as Legislative Staff and Committee Consultant for the Minority Ways and Means Committee specializing in budget appropriations. He has traveled to Nigeria on behalf of the International Republican Institute to address the Peoples’ Democratic Party on grassroots political organizing. Beau received a bachelor’s degree in political science from California State University-San Diego.

Holly Fraumeni has experience lobbying, consulting and developing strategies for clients at the federal, state and local levels. She has specific expertise in U.S.–Cuba trade embargo issues, as well as matters involving tribal government, affordable housing, gaming, taxation, and education. Holly developed a “People-to-People” program approved and licensed by the U.S. Government, which involved leading educational exchange programs with Cuba through the non-profit Californians Building Bridges. Holly’s key clients include Estée Lauder, Station Casinos and Habitat for Humanity. She previously served as Special Advisor to the Secretary of Foreign Affairs for the California Office of the Governor. She received her master’s degree in public administration from USC and her bachelor’s degree in political science from Chapman University.

Steve Wallauch has been a registered lobbyist for more than 20 years. Steven Wallauch is a leading Capitol specialist in transportation policy and public transit issues. Other areas of expertise include municipal planning, local economic development, water district policy, public works policy and public infrastructure finance. Steve was the point person for legislation authorizing the construction of the first high-occupancy toll lanes in Northern California. Steve addition to his legislative activities, Mr. Wallauch works extensively with the California Transportation Commission, Caltrans and the California Air Resources Board in the interests of his clients. He is active with statewide associations such as Transportation California, the Self-Help Counties Coalition, the California Transit Association, the League of California Cities, and the California State Association of Counties.

Brian Lungren possesses extensive experience and expertise as a public affairs professional and governmental policy advocate. Brian has consulted or managed more than 35 political campaigns, including George Deukmejian for Governor, Dan Lungren for Governor, Thomas Hayes for Treasurer, Dan Lungren for Attorney General, Californians for Bob Dole for President and numerous congressional, state and local campaigns and ballot measures. Brian also served as California Director for the successful Bush/Quayle Presidential Campaign, and served as Assistant to the Governor’s Chief of Staff, Chief Deputy Director of the Governor’s Office of Criminal Justice Planning, and Consultant to the Assembly Committee on Agriculture. Brian received a bachelor’s degree in government from the University of Notre Dame and a master’s degree in public administration from Pepperdine University.

Nick Garcia has executed multi-faceted government relations and communications strategies for elected officials and Fortune 50 corporations. His experience navigating tough, technical issues and repackaging them into easy-to-understand strategies has equaled success for his clients. He previously served as managing director of Miller Public Affairs Group and as regional director of government affairs and business development for lottery giant GTECH Corporation. Nick helped navigate former-Lt. Gov. Abel Maldonado’s drawn-out confirmation process through the California Legislature, and served as his legislative director and chief of staff. He directed corporate communications for Blue Cross of California and WellPoint. During the Schwarzenegger Administration, Nick traveled to dozens of states as well as Austria, Hong Kong and China leading event planning and coordination for the Governor.

Nicole Wordelman began her career at Suter, Wallauch, Corbett, & Associates following her graduation from the University of Oregon. She specializes in policy areas related to health and social services, as well as miscellaneous issues. She successfully advocates on a range of policy and budget issues, including services to children, Healthy Families, IHSS, CalWORKs and HIV issues. Nicole communicates, advocates, and educates policy-makers regarding the impact of health and social services policies on individuals, communities, county operations and community-based organizations.

Charles Fina is the Financial Controller for Platinum Advisors and CEO Darius Anderson’s other business entities operating out of Sacramento, San Francisco and Sonoma. As Controller, Charles is responsible for the financial, treasury management and tax reporting of approximately 30 entities. Charles has worked in various private and public business segments. His other financial roles have included real estate development and property management, software development, e-commerce and manufacturing, and production. Charles earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from California State University-Fresno. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of California.

Amy Jenkins is an influential public affairs professional with more than 20 years of experience in legislative, public affairs and political campaigns at the federal, state and local levels. Danny Offer serves as a legislative aide at Platinum Advisors, organizing conferences and conference calls, scheduling a dizzying series of legislative delegation meetings and arranging appointments with the Governor’s staff, agency secretaries, and department directors. Danny drafts and delivers position letters to committees and legislators, and directs traffic for committee testimony. Clients depend upon him for quick updates on the status of bills, and distribution of newly introduced or amended legislation. Danny recently joined Platinum Advisors, as part of the merger with Suter, Wallauch, Corbett & Associates, where he had worked for five years as legislative aide and office manager.

Joe Devine joined Platinum Advisors in 2013, and serves as a legislative assistant for the Sacramento office. In this role, Joe assists with legislative tracking and analysis, event planning, letter writing and editing, scheduling, client outreach and procurement. Previously, Joe worked as a legislative intern for Aaron Read and Associates and its sister company, Marketplace Communications. Joe implemented webinar software to streamline client communication, worked on multiple ballot initiatives and assisted with the rollout of PG&E’s SmartMeter media campaign. During his tenure, Marketplace Communications received four esteemed Pollie Awards from the American Association of Political Consultants. Joe attended studied communications and public affairs at California State University-Chico, where he was an active member of the community and the student organization, Students of Communication Studies Club.

Mandy Lee is a distinguished public affairs professional with over 10 years of government relations, public affairs, political campaigns and public service experience. She serves Platinum’s health care and technology clients on an array of issues, helping them navigate through the complex world of politics and policy in the state Legislature. Prior to joining Platinum Advisors, Mandy served as the Vice President of Government Affairs at the California Retailers Association (CRA), one of the preeminent voices for the California business community in California. There, she served as the chief in-house lobbyist representing the retail industry before the state Legislature and various regulatory bodies. In this role, Mandy also administered the Association’s powerful Political Action Committee. Mandy started her career in the public service, having served in a number of capacities in both houses of the California Legislature. In 2016, Mandy was nationally recognized as one of the top Asian American Pacific Islander political operatives and public affairs professionals under 40. She holds a bachelor’s degree from California State University-Hayward in political science and pre-law studies.

Marisol Lopez’s expertise ranges from strategic consulting to assist businesses to expand and thrive, to building grassroots coalitions between local governments and key constituency groups. In the corporate sector, she provided strategic guidance on business development to Sanrio Company, Ltd., a Tokyo-based company with distribution channels throughout Japan, Southeast Asia, the Americas and Europe. Marisol led a successful grassroots coalition that provided significant strategic support to Congressman Ronald V. Dellums’ mayoral campaign, and then joined the Dellums Administration, first as Special Assistant to the Mayor, and later Chief of Staff. Fluent in Spanish, Marisol graduated from UC-Berkeley, with a bachelor’s degree in American Studies: Urban Economic Development and Public Policy.

Lora Warren serves as the receptionist at Platinum Advisors in Sacramento. She joined Platinum Advisors in November 2007, after working for a Sacramento law firm. Her daily duties include answering phones, handling all the mailing, ordering supplies and general office support.

Hannah Bragstad is a legislative assistant at Platinum Advisors’ Sacramento office. Prior to joining Platinum, Hannah interned for the legislative director of an environmental nonprofit while enrolled in the UC Center Sacramento’s Policy Program. Hannah graduated from the University of California, Davis with a degree in Political Science – Public Service.

Lydia Vansoest Worl joined Platinum in 2012 and is a Human Resources Assistant. Lydia assists with payroll processing and provides support with the administration of the day-to-day functions and duties of the Human Resources Director.

Mr. Bradley served as the executive director and co-founder of the California Cannabis Industry Association (CCIA). He was responsible for public policy advocacy and political strategy at the state and local levels. In 2015, Nate helped build a coalition of non-cannabis related organizations, including physicians, law enforcement, environmental, labor and local government associations to support the creation of the Medical Cannabis Regulation and Safety Act (MCRSA). Later, in 2016, Nate was a spokesman and advisor for the Yes on Prop 64 campaign, which was approved by 57 percent of California voters.
Nate is considered an “outside the box” strategist whose hard-driving style has earned him a reputation as one of the leaders in California’s cannabis industry. In 2010, Nate founded Lawmen Protecting Patients, a 501(c)(3) non-profit advocacy organization consisting of retired and disabled members of the law enforcement community dedicated to advocating on medical cannabis. Nate also brings 10 years of education and experience in law enforcement and defense investigation. He has worked as a city police officer, deputy sheriff and criminal defense investigator.
