Darius Anderson
Widely recognized as one of California’s most effective political strategists with a track record of advising high-ranking political and business leaders, Darius Anderson is the Founder and CEO of Platinum Advisors. Darius has a widely diverse background in business development, government affairs, community relations, charitable activities, and more; plus, he has been the Founder of multiple businesses, including Kenwood Investments and Sonoma Media Investments.

Tim Lynch
Tim Lynch is the President of Platinum Advisors’ Sacramento, serving private sector and local government clients in state legislative affairs. Prior to joining Platinum Advisors, Tim worked as a consultant for a national management consulting and research firm dedicated solely to serving public sector clients. He later served as the Director of Governmental Affairs for a large California trade association in which he was responsible for the association’s legislative program and covered a broad array of policy areas such as managed care, Medi-Cal reimbursement, and workers’ compensation. Mr. Lynch also administered the Association’s political action committees and managed grassroots political action and fundraising efforts. Tim holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of California-Davis.

Martha Miller
With over a decade of experience lobbying, Martha excels in her role as both a strategist and lobbying advocate for everything from Fortune 500 companies to clients at the local, state, and federal level. With an extensive background in the corporate retail world, her experience covers health care, tax, labor, product safety, privacy, supply chain, transportation, and government affairs. Her ability to adapt and learn quickly, educate, influence, and develop partnerships across a broad spectrum of external stakeholders is second to none.

Beau C. Biller
Beau specializes in representing private sector and local government clients, specifically transportation and energy clients. His nearly 20 years of experience covers public policy, public entities, funding, and various political initiatives, including acting as a campaign manager during the 1994-1996 season—a background that uniquely positions him as an expert for effective campaigning. As someone who prides himself on being relatable and approachable, he’s committed to the end result for every client and business.

Marisol Lopez
With an incredibly diverse background that includes politics, Marisol is highly versed in strategic planning and consulting for businesses in both the public and private sector, as well as lobbying for local government policies. Her work spans a wide range: business development for international companies, grassroots coalitions, community organization, all the way down to foundational measures like project management and company staffing.

Joseph Devine
Joe Devine joined the Platinum team as a legislative aide in 2013. Being a quick study and persuasive, he was promoted to Platinum’s lobbying corps in 2015. Joe has a vast network of relationships within the Capitol community that he leverages for his diverse list of public and private clients. Joe has worked with clients in a multitude of policy areas including public safety, gaming, consumer lending, construction and emerging technologies. He knows how to manage complex relationships and navigate difficult political hurdles. Joe thrives in fast paced work environments and never declines a challenge. True to the values of Platinum Advisors, Joe is a team player. He likes to use words like “we” and “us,” and you will rarely hear him say “I.” His attention to detail, positive attitude and incessant hustle make him one of the up-and-coming young lobbyists in Sacramento.
Joe attended California State University Chico where he studied Communication studies and was active in the Students of Communication Studies Club.
In his spare time you can find Joe boating and fishing on the Sacramento river, cooking (ideally, the fish he caught on the river) and traveling (often to Cuba).

Charles Fina
As the Chief Financial Controller (CFO) for Platinum Advisors, Charles oversees the financial management and operations of over 40 companies, working to improve operations and increase revenue. As a strategic partner and advisor for assessing risks and opportunities, he has worked in various private and public business segments, with other roles covering real estate development and property management, software development, e-commerce and manufacturing, and production. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of California.

Nick Garcia
Nick Garcia has executed multi-faceted government relations and communications strategies for elected officials and Fortune 50 corporations. His experience navigating tough, technical issues and repackaging them into easy-to-understand strategies has equaled success for his clients. He previously served as managing director of Miller Public Affairs Group and as regional director of government affairs and business development for lottery giant GTECH Corporation. Nick helped navigate former-Lt. Gov. Abel Maldonado’s drawn-out confirmation process through the California Legislature, and served as his legislative director and chief of staff. He directed corporate communications for Blue Cross of California and WellPoint. During the Schwarzenegger Administration, Nick traveled to dozens of states as well as Austria, Hong Kong, and China leading event planning and coordination for the Governor.

Brian Lungren
With a background in political campaigns at the state and national level, as well over 20 years of public affairs and government advocacy experience, Brian’s main focus today lies within the gaming industry and seeking regulatory procurements. Originally an LAPD officer, he is still in the service of people today as a major advocate for the National Alliance of Mental Illness, and for various environmental issues, like the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA)—the safekeepers of restoring Lake Tahoe.

Danny Offer
A crucial member of the team, Danny acts as legislative assistant to 10 lobbyists, all with widely different and constantly changing needs. Thanks to a life spent thriving in various support staff positions, his ability to multitask is second to none. He spends his day-to-day organizing conferences, scheduling legislative delegation meetings, drafting committee letters, and acts as the client liaison for work updates.

Steven Wallauch
As a registered lobbyist for more than 20 years, Steven is a leading specialist in transportation policy and public transit issues. Other areas of legislative expertise include municipal planning, local economic development, water district policy, public works policy and public funding for infrastructure and housing. He is also exceptionally active with local county transportation agencies, as well as the California Transportation Commission, Caltrans and the California Air Resources Board.

Kelly Hitt
Kelly Hitt has represented the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) as Senior Director of State Government Affairs for over 8 years working the entire Western Region and most recently, California and Hawaii. In this time, Kelly has become an issue-expert on a diverse number of legislative topics including: privacy, environmental, procurement, workforce and development, education, tax and emerging technology issues.
Prior to her near decade with CompTIA, Kelly served as Government Affairs Analyst for Western Growers – California’s premier agriculture association – representing fruit, nut and vegetable farmers throughout the state.
A lifelong city resident and dedicated mother, Kelly lives in East Sacramento with her husband Michael and their two daughters Juliet and Kate.

Laura Lane
Laura brings a strong public policy background with extensive experience working in state and local governments on complex policy and fiscal issues. With her public service background, Laura understands the importance of – and is well-versed in – leading coalitions, building advocacy campaigns, and partnering with grassroots networks to affect change. In addition, she has successfully navigated complex political issues and supported strategic operational efforts. Her experience spans health care, mental health, social services, labor, development, higher education, and transportation.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Wellesley College and her Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas, School of Law.
