Brian Lungren
Brian Lungren is an experienced public affairs professional and governmental policy advocate with three decades in the industry. As a lobbyist with Platinum Advisors Sacramento practice, Brian provides legislative and regulatory advocacy to a diversified client base that includes local governments, special districts, corporations, and non-profit organizations.
Over the course of his career, has held senior positions in state and local government, including Chief Deputy Director of the Governor’s Office of Criminal Justice Planning, Consultant to the Assembly Committee on Agriculture and Assistant to the Governor’s Chief of Staff. Brian has also consulted or managed more than thirty-five national, state, and local political campaigns.
Brian served on the California Department of State Hospitals Condition Release Program (CONREP) Advisory Committee. Additionally, Brian served as a Los Angeles Police Officer and a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Reserve Deputy.
Along with his wife, Nancy, and three children, Brian founded Team-Bri, an endurance and triathlon team which competes to raise funds and awareness for those who live with a serious mental illness. Team-Bri’s success has resulted in thousands of dollars raised for the National Alliance on Mental Illness-California’s Crisis Intervention Team Program that helps educate and train law enforcement officers to assist, and engage safely with, individuals experiencing a mental health crisis.
Brian Lungren received a Bachelor’s degree in Government from the University of Notre Dame and Master’s degree in Public Administration from Pepperdine University.
