Ryan Blake

Ryan Blake serves as Vice President of Legislative Affairs. Over the past decade, Ryan has built a successful career in Bay Area politics by working for an array of candidates and clients since 2010. Ryan’s career started as an intern on Gavin Newsom’s Lieutenant Governor campaign. Ryan has worked on campaigns representing Recology, the San Francisco Giants, The American Beverage Association, and Chevron on successful campaigns around the Bay Area.

Prior to joining Platinum Advisors, Ryan managed multiple clients and initiatives in San Francisco, Marin, Contra Costa, and Alameda Counties. Over the course of his career, Ryan has raised over $1 billion for education, infrastructure, and public safety. Ryan has also worked on several high-profile campaigns across the State, notably Senator Mark Leno’s 2018 run for Mayor of San Francisco.

Ryan’s work at Platinum has delivered significant legislative and project wins for clients related to authorized use approval, cannabis retail, communications infrastructure, transportation policy, tax reform negotiations, and hospitality regulatory frameworks as it relates to the COVID-19 pandemic response.
