María Spencer Neider, Former Director of the Assembly Democratic Caucus, Joins Platinum Advisors

SACRAMENTO, CA – Today, Platinum Advisors announced that María Spencer Neider has joined the firm’s Sacramento lobbying team where she will lead government relations strategies for a wide range of the firm’s clients.

Spencer Neider is a seasoned public relations and government affairs professional with over 15 years of experience across industries, including government, small business, trade, and hospitality. Originally from Oaxaca, Mexico, she holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in International Relations and a B.A. in Political Science from the Autonomous University of Mexico. Fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese, Spencer Neider’s career spans international roles before settling in California in 2010.

Most recently, Spencer Neider served as Director for the Assembly Democratic Caucus, Speaker’s Office of Communications and Outreach, leading a team of 60 experts in public policy, communications, media, and digital innovation. In that role, she also served as a public relations consultant for the 60-member Democratic Caucus and key external partners, including media, state agencies, and technology firms.
